Mid-Wilts Way Stage 2 – Wilton to Knap Hill

Leaving the village of Wilton, you are heading west along the Kennet & Avon Canal, past Crofton Beam Engines and on to Wootton Rivers.  After lunch, the route heads north to take you to the spectacular Martinsell Hill and then on to the Pewsey Downs.

Morning

Walk the Mid-Wilts Way from Wilton to Wootton Rivers

Detour to St Andrew’s Church in Wootton Rivers.

Following the Mid Wilts Way off the Kennet & Avon Canal at Bridge 108 (Forest Road Bridge), a short distance along the lane you will find St Andrew’s Church on your left and very interesting it is too!

No distance for this diversion, just a short wander off the route.
