A relaxing and interesting day in the beautiful town of Marlborough, the Blue Plaque walk will take you right round the town, showing you places of significance where famous people lived and worked.
After your walk, you can have lunch at one of the many eating establishments in Marlborough and then spend the afternoon shopping or perhaps a walk around the Stonebridge Wild River Reserve where you can see the River Kennet – one of the best chalk streams in the country.

A choice of activities for the afternoon depending on how you are feeling (and perhaps the weather!).
Enjoy the marvellous range of shops in Marlborough along its famous wide High Street and if you are visiting on a Wednesday or a Saturday, they have an excellent outdoor market.
Alternatively, for something more peaceful and relaxed, why not visit the nature reserve that is just outside the town centre – Stonebridge Meadow – and see one of the finest chalk streams in the country.
