Exploring Wiltshire’s rich heritage is now accessible through the Explore Wiltshire app!

The Explore Wiltshire app features information about historical landmarks, cultural sites and significant events that have helped to shape Wiltshire’s landscape. The free, easy to use location-aware app, also includes historic photos, engravings and information from the archives of the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre.

Not only does it have content on Pewsey, but other locations are also on there including Bradford on Avon, Devizes and Salisbury.

With interactive maps, walking trails, hunts and challenges; plus photographs, audio and visual clips, you can explore Pewsey in an exciting way, from anyone wanting to go on a quiet walk on their own to families looking to have a fun and entertaining experience discovering new hidden treasures.  Phil Harding from Channel 4 Time Team provides an introduction.

Further trails across the Vale of Pewsey will be added over time and we will update you on any new content in our monthly newsletter.
