We are delighted to announce that we have achieved Walkers are Welcome accreditation! Thank you to all our local people who registered their support of this important initiative.

This accreditation means that the rights of way are checked by groups of local volunteers to improve the quality of walking, as well as promoting routes across the area for walkers to enjoy and running guided walks in the annual North Wessex Downs Walking Festival.

Walkers are Welcome is a nationwide initiative launched in 2007 to be 'welcoming to walkers', developing and promoting walking in areas with something different to offer.

You can find out more about Walkers are Welcome in the Vale of Pewsey here, including information on parking and how to report any issues you might find.

Look out for businesses who are displaying the Walkers are Welcome logo!
